New Magazine/Publication Accepting Submissions
Hello. Good Day All. I am writing this post and will post this message once a week. The company (James Creative Arts And Entertainment Company) is currently accepting submissions for a magazine. We are accepting submissions of art, drawings, comics, photography, and short stories (100 to 1000 words) and poetry. The current pay is $20.00 per accepted and published submission. The deadline for submissions is Dec 31, 2014. Please send submissions to thebookofcreativeideas at Yahoo dot com. Thank You. If that doesn’t work for you, you can mail the submissions to P.O. The Messenger “Short Film” directed by Jamaal R. James
The Messenger is a short film created by Jamaal R. James for James Creative Arts And Entertainment Company. The Messenger is a short film about a inter-planetary being who visits different people and forces them to make choices. The underlying message is in life we all have choices. Well here’s the Messenger himself. Hermann C. Wolf. Hermann did a great job of making and bringing the Messenger to life. Hermann was very adaptable and did an excellent job of jumping into character as the messenger. Hermann’s German came in very handy as well, since the messenger is using a cryptic language. Burtis Cutler. Burtis played Fred. Burtis did a great job of playing Frustrated Fred. Fred is a middle aged male who’s mad because his kids are spoiled and his wife shows him no respect…and then the car he’s driving happens to break down on him. The Messenger shows up and Burtis takes action. Action that becomes costly for him…..Well watch the film and see for yourself. Ruth Hunduma played Cindy. Cindy was jogging and minding her own business when she sprains her ankle on a step. Cindy makes more decisions that make her situation worse than before. Cindy’s another reminder to all of us that when your emotional remember to think……..Ruth was a great actress and was given very little direction and brought Cindy to life. Yissendy Trinidad played Janessa. Janessa is engaged to be married to her fiancé…and her fiancé has changed his mind and decided to get married with Janessa’s best friend. Janessa takes it like a champ but then makes a hasty decision. Janessa is the embodiment of woman that lash out at their man or ex man by doing something with their body that does no harm to the man or woman in their life and much harm to themselves. If you don’t believe go on message boards and see what scorned women post online. So Janessa is a reminder to all of us….don’t send pics until you cool down….Yissendy’s accent came in handy. Jacob Kahn played Bartholmeu. Jacob was Awesome I thought he was actually taking a Molly. Lol. Well Jacob played Bartholmeu. Bartholmeu is a college student who is studying for Finals. When he reaches his is almost finished studying he gets a message from a friend advising him that he’s been studying the wrong chapter……Now this has happened to all of us at one time or another. But Bartholmeu makes a choice after the Messenger shows up. Things get out of hand. Morning Folks. This is James Creative Arts and Entertainment Company coming at you one more time as we rise and grind. Here’s the next short film that we completed. It’s called, “The Happy Hike”, its about some strangers that happen to go camping near or on the same route and then encounter a weird, character who is as nice as he is mean if that makes any sense. Mary Rachel Gardner, nickname May Ray, was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. Known for her sense of humor and genuine presence, since she was a child, Mary Rachel loved sharing stories and challenging perspectives with almost anyone. Tiffany was a wonderful pleasure to work with as well. She had to leave early as why the ending doesn’t show her doing a cameo. but was great to work with. Tiffany at one point was so into character that her hair got stuck on a plant as she was being attacked by the Killer in the short film. Thanks again Tiffany.

Tiffany Kieu is a 24 year old Vietnamese American originally from Irvine, Ca. She self-prescribed Drama class in 7th grade to overcome her fear of public speaking, and not only that, but also discovered her passion for acting. This passion sat latent in the following years as she turned her focus to getting her bachelor’s in Biology from UC Irvine. Upon graduating in 2011, Tiffany reconnected with her love for acting and fully committed to pursuing her dreams. She packed up and moved to Silverlake, emerging herself in all that LA and acting the world had to offer. She began studying the craft with Eric Morris (from whom she continues to learn) Scott Sedita, Jack Stehlin and Alfred Molina, while actively auditioning and filming as often as possible. Her latest achievement was playing the lead role in the indie psychological horror film, “The Purgation”. Brock Kruckemeyer
Brock is very aggressive, but can be given direction as well. He acts talks and walks with authority. He is very self confident and driven. Brock played a great deranged character. He was given little direction once again and ran with it. Brock had me so convinced that sometimes I didn’t know if he was Brock or the killer. Lol. Well that’s about it. Dontez Sharpley
You may remember Dontez Sharpley, from “Silly Sharkeisha Gets Lost In The Valley of Hope”, yes he was Mr. Yummy Eater Man. But this time Dontez played Sasha. No worries, working with Dontez was fun as always and he really plays his roles well. When was the last time you saw a horror film with a drag queen looking for a place to do a film shoot, huh, huh, well you get it. Thanks again and more roles from Dontez will be in the future.
A.J. Spearman
